BAYCOM Sdn Bhd (BAYCOM) is a managed satellite network provider company incorporated in Malaysia in year 2000. It is an MSC-status company that has been awarded the Network Service Provider (NSP), Network Facility Provider (NFP) and Application Service Provider (ASP) licenses.
Offering a range of satellite services for both large and small businesses, it has built up a clientele of approximately 1000 sites. BAYCOM’s services include high-speed managed private network, internet access and multimedia content multicasting using the revolutionary two-way satellite broadband technology of Hughes Network Systems, Inc. of the United States.
Baycom today goes beyond Satellite services, offering Microwave and WiFi capabilities to its clients. Being a service provider partnering with other Telcos in Malaysia, Baycom has setup Microwave Point to Multipoint (PMP) hubs as well as providing Satellite Backhaul services.
